Forget 3D, here comes the QD TV

The history of television is very old. There was a time when people use to witness TV black and white small TV sets. Then came the era of colour TV. This era was enjoyed by the people a lot. After this came the era of TV with woofer sound. Liquid-Crystal display television LCD TV are the television sets that use LCD display technology to produce images. They are thinner, lighter and are available in much larger sizes.LCD’s new and modified version was LED. A Plasma display panel (PDP) is a type of flat panel display common to large TV displays in 30 inches or larger.
Since 3DTVs were first mass marketed back in 2010, we’ve been waiting for the next major break-through in television. According to scientists at Manchester University, this could be paper-thin OLED TV displays that incorporate quantum dot technology.

Recently Scientists at Nanoco in Manchester, England, have created light emitting particles 100,000 times smaller than the width of a human strand of hair.
Known as quantum dot technology, the light particles can be produced to emit any colour and printed onto flexible plastic to create ultra-thin televisions. The Nanosys technology is called Quantum Dot Enhancement Film (QDEF). It increases the color gamut (or number of colors) in a display by as much as three times without any increase in cost, size or power consumption.
Nanoco said quantum dot technology offers better picture quality and lasts longer than traditional liquid crystal display (LCD) screens.

This Is One Of The Best IPhone 6 Concept

We here at Maypalo has seen tons of iPhone concepts which show how the future iPhone would look like. Some are just average while others truly blow our mind. This new iPhone 6 concept is one of the latter. Check out this truly stunning iPhone 6 concept videos below.
Apple is very secretive about its up-coming products, so it becomes super hard for us to guess how or what kind of new features the next generation of iPhone will pack, but thanks to a few people, some crucial information regarding an up-coming product getsleaked.
This is where concept artists come in. They get the information from these leakers and put together a small animation video which depicts the product that is yet to be launched. Well keeping with that tradition here is a concept video and images on how the iPhone 6might look like.
Well feast your eyes on these stunning iPhone 6 images.
iPhone-5-vs-iPhone-6
White-iPhone-6

This concept of the iPhone 6 shows a true edge-to-edge display which many, including I, want Apple to make. As you can see from the images and the video below, this is truly an amazing concept of how theiPhone 6 might look like.
The major difference between this iPhone 6 and the current iPhone 5 is that this version is super thin, and the screen occupies more space but keeping the overall size the same.

Sony Xperia ZR Lets You Shoot Full HD Videos Underwater

sony
Sony’s new Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia ZR, has a trait not often seen in today’s high-range smartphones: it can be submerged 5 feet deep under water.
Its level of water resistance — IP55 and IP58 — is a bit better than Sony’s current Android flagship, Sony Xperia Z, which is IP55 and IP57 compliant, meaning it can be submerged into 3.3 feet of water.
Bear in mind that, for both devices, this specifically means “fresh water,” meaning you probably shouldn’t take it with you for that ocean dive, but it’s still a very nice feature to have, especially with the summer approaching.
As for the rest of the Xperia ZR’s specs, they’re the same as the Xperia Z: a 4.6-inch screen, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 13-megapixel camera and 2GB of RAM.
The camera lets you shoot full HD videos, and the device’s Exmor RS image sensor lets you take HDR photos and videos, all of which could result in some stunning underwater footage if you’re not scared to get a little wet.
Sony Xperia ZR will become available globally (in black or white) in Q2 2013 at a yet-undisclosed price.

Samsung’s 5G Is ‘Several Hundred Times Faster’ Than 4G

20130514-070941.jpg

Samsung has developed a new mobile data transfer technology that’s potentially up to “several hundred times” faster than current 4G networks. More precisely, the company announced “the world’s first adaptive array transceiver technology operating in the millimeter-wave Ka bands for cellular communications.”
Samsung says the technology “sits at the core” of a 5G mobile communications system, and it can say that with relative ease, as 5G (unlike LTE or 4G) is currently not a defined set of standards — more a vague idea of whatever comes next after 4G.
Samsung’s new technology, which the company plans to commercialize by 2020, sounds impressive when it comes to data transfer speeds. In its testing, Samsung managed to transmit data at a speed of up to 1.056Gbps to a distance of up to 2 kilomeers.
In practice, Samsung envisions mobile transmission of “massive” data files, which include high-quality movies, “practically without limitation.”
Though 4G technology hasn’t really reached the hands of consumers yet, the race to set the standards for 5G are already underway. In March 2013, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology established a working group to research 5G, and the EU announced in February it will invest 5 million euros in 5G research.

Samsung Galaxy Skin Specification,Info & Price

Samsung Galaxy skins The particularity of this project is the latest generation represented by the use of special materials that make the terminal fully flexible and thin as a sheet of paper. The concept, called Samsung Galaxy skins, can fold into two or four parts as needed or being used as a video projector.

For the rest of the specifications, the designer of the concept was limited to a classic setup: 4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, 8 megapixel camera (like Samsung Galaxy SII future iPhone or 5) and the possibility of realizing high resolution video at 720 pixels. Finally, with regard to the operating system, Heyon You opted for a futuristic version of Android, maybe, who knows that Google is already working.

So, we’ve seen dual-core processors in phones, Massive screen sizes that are too big to fit in your pocket and we’ve even explored the third dimension with phones like the Optimus 3D and Evo 3D. Where do we go from here? How about flexible displays then. Samsung showed off their concept phone, called the ‘Skin’ in South Korea in June and earlier, at CES 2011. The phone uses a special flexible AMOLED screen instead of glass that uses a plastic polyimide substrate. Due to this, the display is flexible enough to bend around a cylinder measuring just an inch in diameter

According to various sources, Samsung has confirmed that they will be putting this into production as the large scale manufacturing of these flexible AMOLED displays will begin in Q2 of 2012. If all goes as planned, we can expect the phone to hit the shelves by the end of 2012. The final product may not look exactly like the one in the picture, but at least it will be the next step in mobile evolution.

Facts About Bill Gates

1. Bill Gates earns US$250 every SECOND, that's about US$20 Million a DAY and US$7.8 Billion a YEAR!

2. If he drops a thousand dollar, he won't even bother to pick it up bcoz the 4 seconds he picks it, he would've already earned it back.

3. The US national debt is about 5.62 trillion, if Bill Gates were to pay the debt by himself; he will finish it in less then 10 years.

4. He can donate US$15 to everyone on earth but still be left with US$5 Million for his pocket money.

5. Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete in US. If he doesn't drink and eat, and keeps up his annual income i.e. US$30 Million, he'll have to wait for 277 years to become as rich as Bill Gates is now.

6. If Bill Gates was a country, he would be the 37th richest country on earth.

7. If you change all of Bill Gate's money to US$1 notes, you can make a road from earth to moon, 14 times back and forth. But you have to make that road non-stop for 1,400 years, and use a total of 713 BOEING 747 planes to transport all the money.

8. Bill Gates is 40 this year. If we assume that he will live for another 35 years, he has to spend US$6.78 Million per day to finish all his money before he can go to heaven.

Last but not the least: If Microsoft Windows' users can claim US$1 for every time their computers hang because of Microsoft Windows, Bill Gates will be bankrupt in 3 years !!!!!!! !!!!

Mercury launches USB 3G dongle with WiFi hotspot feature

It supports speeds up to 7.2 Mbps at home and works with any PC, laptop or any device that is WiFi enabled.

Kobian, a player in computer peripherals and tablets, has announced the launch of two new USB 3G dongles under its Mercury brand. Out of the two, one can be used as a WiFi router that can provide WiFi connectivity to six other devices, while the other is a simple universal dongle which is compatible with all telecom providers.
Priced at Rs 2,999, the Mercury 3G dongle router is one of the cheapest in the market. Currently operators like Tata Docomo, Vodafone and Airtel are also offering such routers in the range of Rs 3,500 to Rs 5,000. The other Mercury USB dongle is priced at Rs 1,899.
A WiFI hotspot dongle creates a WiFi network around it, which can be used to connect any WiFi enabled device to internet. Its main benefit is that you can use just one connection to access internet from multiple devices.

Mercury USB Dongle cum Router supports speeds up to 7.2 Mbps at home. It works with any PC, laptop or any device that is WiFi enabled.
Usually, all the USB 3G dongles with or without router functionality have 7.2 Mbps HSDPA download and 5.6 Mbps HSUPA upload speeds. They support GSM with full band of 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and with network standards of IEEE 802.1 b/g/n at an operating frequency of 2.4 GHz. These have an USB interface and draw the power from the tablet, laptop or smartphone to which they are connected.
Sushmita Das, country manager, India, Kobian said, "Internet connectivity is necessity of life and requirement at office, colleges and homes. We bring ease and affordability to this basic need today. The dongle router allows home connectivity for all WiFi enabled devices."
Both the products come with a warranty period of 1 year.
